I am a Gen 1 owner and IMO the 92-95 cars should not be used as everyday drivers and the top/curtains should only be used if you get caught in bad weather.
I don't know what's up with this company but, I also called them and they told me they didn't have them. Couple days later I see they have an auction for them on ebay. I use buy-it-now on auction, call them the next day to confirm stock and they tell me they have many in stock. I received...

Is this a real color/picture or just a photoshop? Sorry don't know how to post pic.
Ebay. Here is the Item number: 8066189003 from my auction. If you don't find them now, you may want to look up my auction and e-mail the seller about them.
Can anyone verify this is the correct part# for a Gen 1(94) hood pad?
4848024ac
also how many clips in the pad and are they the christmas tree ones?
Thanks, Andy
Someone has already taken the clip off on this photo. The hole under the bottle is the one that is a problem. Removing it totally like done here is also an option.
Not sure what year you have but just checking some prices, there is a big difference between a gen 1 hood and a gen 2 hood.
Gen 1 new hood $6873
Gen 2 new hood $13,080
What is the best way to mask the pad off for painting so you get crisp, sharp lines? I've seen them done with a zillion pieces of masking tape but it seems like there must be a better way
Ranger points out that his car is "bone stock" and yours has "light mods". Maybe you should bring yours back to stock so there will be no excuses if you win?
Anyway GOOD LUCK with the race! :2tu:
