If you have a weekend to spare you can paint your own hood. You just need a couple of spray cans and patient on taping the logo. I did mine when someone here did it and post the result. Not hard really. Check my photos if you got a chance. Good luck. :2tu:
Dana should had the dinner for free... or discounted... or even the drinks for free... Did the waitress know that you were driving a viper? just kidding. :2tu:
I just did mine couple of weeks ago and like the sound of it. It is not too loud... for me. Don't know how to do a sound clip. Where you at, maybe we can hook up. :2tu:
Now that is what I like to hear. Got to pick my best pic and I'll send it to you. I'll go with the month of September.
Thanks ...you da man... I mean Pictureman :headbang:
When I got the wrong and missing part for my catback jonB took care of it. Although I plan on not doing too much mods for her, guess who I gonna call for parts when I need one.....jonB :2tu:
Mike,
I just finished mine with Randomtech catback with hi flow cats and I like the sound of it. I will be putting my side panel tomorrow and off to a long drive to burned the oil from the new system.
First I don't want to removed the OE cats but it gave me problem on the install. Talked to...
Update...
Just got a hold of jonB of partsrack and after explaining to him on what I got, he gave me the best solution and it is to install a hi flow cats and will ship it to me overnight so I don't have much of downtime. What a service. I will recomend jonB to everybody who is looking for viper...
Thanks for the response guys. Right now I am talking to Dave of randomtech and he is researching it. I am thinking to go catless before but from what I heard it will be too loud for me and NJ emission is also an issue. I will try to talk to the shop and see if VPRVENM97 suggestion will be fine...
Anyone here installed Randomtech Catback? Tried to install the system yesterday but the shop said that the muffler is too long and they are affraid of cutting the exhaust pipe because it will be going thru the bend and that it might not line up properly and that the side skirt might not fit...
Look what I got in the mail today...

Now my question is which part of the muffler should face the back of the car?
Thanks for any input. This will be my weekend project.
There is someone here that did he's garage recently and he used different product and it also looks nice. Checked it out. Not sure if cheaper than Racedeck though. Goodluck on your project.
