If Kelly's car doesn't make it back from Tijuana , let me know. I have an 01 GTS and live in Mission Viejo (near Coto de Caza) and can be there in a flash
Re: Can we dispel the \"poor handling Viper\" myth?
Having my Boxster S six months prior to getting my 01 GTS from Bill P., I thought it (the Boxster) was the best handling car ever made (actually, I still think it is... more below). But after going to Viper Days (Buttonwillow) I learned what...
Welcome!
6'-6" and you fit? Really? I'm only 6'-0" and think I barely fit. I'm considering getting the seat lowered 1".
Yup, kids and young women love the car
I installed the 3" Corsa cat-backs and I'm very happy with the sound.
MGW First Strike knob cured the long throw problem. Plus...
I'll 2nd Ulysses on the recommendation that you contact Bill Pemberton before making your purchase decision. I bought my car from him as did several of us in So Cal. He is very knowledgeable about Vipers, normally has plenty in stock, and is willing to deal. Also, it's nice to buy a car from...

It was great to meet you Ken. You drove a good...
I might want to go too. Sunday is better for me. I could go Saturday but not in the morning. What's this about a cruise? That would be great. Is anyone from O.C. caravaning up?
Re: An amusing picture from today\'s GTG
Are the Turbo Supras really that good at the track? I've never seen any there. Just curious. Also, if the car is so awesome performance for the dollar, why did Toyota stop making them? Sounds like a stupid decision on their part. Hell, I'd add one...
Vic,
Yes, Buttonwillow was a blast. You need to get out there and try it. I wanted to go to Thunderhill but got really sick (flu) and really behind at work.
I know how it is with running a business. Mine has about swallowed me up lately. I can't complain to much because you have to take it...
You'll get used to it. I've noticed the Viper feels very "nervous" when cruising on the highway, but when loading the suspension in corners and on smoother roads it feels wonderful. Take your car to the track and enjoy
Re: \"feel\" of Viper power compared to...
My neighbor has a Camaro SS which he seems to be quite proud of. Late one night he saw me driving home and tried to race me from a stop light. I didn't realize it was him at first and didn't follow. When I realized it was him I got hard on the gas...
Vic,
At breakfast we were wondering where you were. Asked Dave Jenkins but he didn't know. Why didn't you meet us there in San Juan? You should have called me on my cell phone.
I thought the two 79 exits might confuse some. Fortunately Frank knew the way. Actually, I knew the Temecula...
Kelly,
I'd like to hear your car someday. I have the 3" Corsa. Was also thinking about headers and highflow cats but not sure... thinking it may be too loud for my neighbors. Maybe we can meet for lunch or beer or something... I'll buy
Congrats! Seeing the trailer from Woodhouse arrive was one of the happiest days in my life. Unfortunately I was too stupid to remember to video tape it . Enjoy and stay safe.
MGW replacement shift knob is the easiest way to shorten the throw. Plus they look good. Takes about 5 minutes to install. They also have other aluminum trim items if you desire. Quality is first rate.
I also installed the smooth intake tubes (TNT), K&N filters, and 3" Corsa cat-back...
I followed a beautiful blue GTS with white stripes (96 or 97?) on my way into work this morning on Santiago Canyon around 10:00 AM. Was it anyone here? At first I thought it was Frank from Laguna Niguel, but the car did not have a rear wing. I was in the red Porsche Boxster S. One thing I...
Re: I\'m getting a Viper on Fri AM!!!
Congrats!!! I know the feeling. I got mine from Bill P. too and remember when I got the call from Bill (the driver) the night before delivery. Enjoy and stay safe
Nice photos Andy. Sorry I didn't meet you that weekend. So many new faces it was hard to meet everyone. It was my first event and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Viper Days... highly recommended.
