    Why so much difference in S/C prices???

    I have zero detonation and my car runs great. I had a few problems (pre vec2) but now that the vec2 is on everything is fine and fast. Runs like stock unless you you get on it. Seems like (S/C)people are alway beating the Roe system with either detonation or you get what you payed for sound...

    Its like fishing. You troll long enough and someone may bite. On the positive,the S/C is installed and there is no wait. Negative is, you can buy two 98's and 1 DLM S/C for that price.

    Chuck you are correct about the corsa but I also took the cats out so I am sure I gained a little hp but most important I gained an exhaust note that I can live with. Headers are next, and with 25hp as the upside I want to make sure there are not any drawbacks.

    Besides cost? I understand I will get about 25hp with my current freeflow exhaust. Seems like a lot of money for 25hp, so I am on the fence. Any heat issues? Or other drawbacks?

    Roe vs Wade?

    If you plan to use street tires I am not sure there is a big difference in quarter mile times. No traction is no traction. DLM gives you the big horsepower and the chance to go faster if you can connect it to the ground.

    He has no risk. If your check bounces or is fake he can just call his insurance company and say his car has been stolen. But if you pay him upfront whats your recourse.

    I am wrestling with the same question regarding headers. I asked Sean Roe and he said I would probably gain 25 rwhp. And this is on a S/C car. When I dyno it I will compare my numbers to vipers with headers and my set up and decide then.
