Hmmmm, I don't know. I am not even sure what I'm hearing is a knock....that's my problem. I was thinking if the knock sensor went off it would confirm whether it was or not. (I used to have a 67 Mustang that developed knocking and there was no question about what that was.
That's why I'm...
I am interested in this too! I keep thinking I hear a quiet knock at idle, but I can only hear the noise inside the car, and I'm not really sure if that is what it is.
As long as we keep the Vipers we presently have, we'll be able to drive the same as we always do. Just let someone try to require the modification on every car presently on the road! :bonker:
Just a note...I just got their First Strike knob and it is awesome! It looks great, lowers the shifter height by about 1.5 inches, and it feels very natural in the hand.
I used a broker when buying my viper....I wouldn't recommend it. He didn't know much about the car and really embellished on the condition. "Showroom condition" changed to "well, it's in great condition for a 7 year old car" after I saw it.
SuperSaiks, I haven't seen that problem before...mine has a decent amount of clearance there. Is it just the one side doing this?
PS I will try to help you post the pics when I get home tonight from work.
