sundevillover,
I grew up in Plano. My office is at Legacy & Hwy 75. I now live just outside Plano in Lucas though.
BTW, I hope no one in TX gets my wheels. I will be mad. I got these because I did not want to look like everyone else.
ILLSMOQ, the wheels are 20x10 & 20x13.
I hate waiting for things like this, but the wheels finally came in. They look better in person that I thought they would.
As far as weight savings, I saved about 2lbs on each rear and the fronts are about the same as OEM. I knew getting these 20's would not really save me much. The look is...
Sorta off-topic, but I had a chance to run it pretty good tonight. I still have the stock runflats, and I would almost swear I was spinning at the top of 3rd. Even hit the rev limiter.. it spun up quick. new tires next week.
Just got my Fidanza flywheel installed today. Drove it home in bumper to bumper traffic for about 20 miles. I have to say, that I felt no significant difference in stop & go. Almost could not tell. I did notice the once or twice I got to get on it a bit that is seemed to rev a little quicker. I...
Around here, there's definitely more competition. There are several TT cars in town. Maybe one day, mine will be one as well, and then I can talk trash too.
My advice....get the vert. it is 2 kinds of fun. I had a vette coupe a few years ago and traded it for a vert. Now I have the SRT. Two different experiences rolled into one. Can't be beat..in my opinion. Go for it.
BTW, DLM told me that his 3.5" pulley is good for about 1 to 1.5 lbs extra boost. That might not be "too" much, but I am no expert. The one's advertised at 10lb pulleys are 3.33" or 3.25".
I just spoke with Paxton. The can do it with a 10 day turnaround for $300 for the polishing, but the kicker is that it will also take a minor servicing/disassembly in which they say the bearings have to be replaced and that will cost an additional $424. Ouch. More than I anticipated. Maybe...
When I ordered my paxton, I got the unpolished one. I (stupidly) assumed it would look like my intake. Wrong I was. I really wish I had spent a few more bucks and gotten the polished one. What are my options? Can I send it back to paxton for polishing? Can I just yank it and have someone polish it?
