    1996 & 97 GTS 1/4 Times

    46k miles on the car, Stock 17" rims, michelin sports I believe. Oh...and a very abused clutch, it is amazing the abuse these things can take! On the same day I watched a granny-shifted 11.2second 96 GTS, head work, headers, full exhaust & 3.55's on slicks. He did 11.4 on street tires!

    600rwhp even with the 3.55's in there, damn I need a ride. Keep us posted about the dyno. I am saving up, should have the Jesel RR soon, I have the headers and cat-back, need to get hi-flows. And I have a guy that will do my heads for me, cam I am going to stick with my stock (96GTS) cam!!!

    Might be alittle aggressive tune, but with that set-up you should be at atleast 550-560rwhp, which with 3.33 rear gear you can run the rest of the car stock and not worry about anything breaking. Also Matt probably forgot to throw 1.7RR in there to go with the heads. If you think you will be...

    3.55, 4th gear should be something like, 5500=121 / 6000=130 at least for a genII, can't imagine it being that far off.

    Mike it was a good time, part of the VTCOA PHX GTG. 70* outside, track wasn't super sticky but it was good. All the guys with trucks now know why Viper own the road. I put multiple car lengths on all of them!

    I am getting started/prepared for a Roe. I am having eddie Martin refresh the engine and adding: Cam, 1.7RR, Heads(not sure which), the engine alone should be good for low 500ish rwhp. Once the headers, high flows and cat-back are on I hope to achieve cloase to 700rwhp with an 8.5# pulley...

    I just did my 96 GTS with Turtle Wax Liquid CLay Bar ICE and Meguiars NXT wax. Washed car, washed car, liquid clay bar, washed car, quick wipe down w/ microfiber, NXT wax. Tha wzx doesn't seem thick but has a very good shine to it. The rear end of the car looks rand new and covered up alot...
