for a stock GTS or RT10...should help. I think you would know if they are 4.10s not sure how you would get traction 1st-3rd?
also i thought we should shift a GTS at 5500rpms

honestly the car is to much fun to worry about what it will be worth in 5-10 years...as long as it in good condition, should stay the same maybe down a little:dunno::rolleyes:
I like the olg GTS's not having ABS & TC & YAW control. but the newer ones should have (and do) ABS for better braking, TC should be an option. cup holder would be nice but even the ones in vettes suck as is so not sure how effective it would be.
my car is just about to turn 8k miles...48k miles that is. and I would suspect the car would welcome a track day, I won't be able to abuse it as much:omg:
I think alot of guys know this car is in good shape
I think it is time to go back to the drawing board. I will ship you my 96 GTS to relearn on, in the mean time send me your "fixed" 08 to make sure the alignment is correct. after you have "practiced" enough we will swap back. This is a one time offer! lol
dont fret it, the car is sneaky and...
In NJ there is a difference between
Reckless Driving = points
Careless Driving = just a ticket to pay, but do have to show to court
find out more details about the ticket. the problem would be the high rate of speed that he said you were going, which isn't possbile because GenII brakes...
Jack up the rear of the car with a normal floor jack to fit the lifts arms under it.
Steam cleaning would probably be best, maybe some grease cutter. depends on how dirty it is, my rear main seal was bad for a while so I had alot of oil underneath.
I had the same worry just because it was my baby and dream car. If you hit it in first it will spin, just watch the 1-2 shift. 1st-3rd make sure its pointed straight and you will be fine.
shows how much I know:omg:, the problem is they are dirty as all heck inside them. I think I may take em off & take out the fog lights all together and route a brake duct:dunno:

I found this which shows removal, but then I still have this clear plastic cover(to protect the foglights) that someone cut slots into the fascia to keep them there. I gues I...
I have clear covers over the foglights on my 96GTS. I didn't think they came this way. Any event, I did a search and could not find a how to on removing the fog lights(ACR style) and routing brake cooling ducts. I am trying to remove some weight and set the car up for a little track action...
Looks good Nader, I think the GenIIIs can handle a larger rim, maybe its the newer body:dunno:
I like the 5 spoke, probably the best looking in my opinion on a GenIII.
Do you know which ones you are going to get?
I saw a 18/19(?) set up that looked awesome HRE 590s I think.
Had a photoshoot with the Viper. - Viper Alley - Dodge Viper Forum
just turned 30, 18/19 on a genII still keeps the focus on the car and not the rims. I just think you start to take away from the body of the car when you start getting any larger than that. May be trying to hard is the wrong saying. They still look better than my stock 17s:D
