1 Bad Snake, I was curious, do you know the original in service date or build date for your car? It was my understanding that the last date to renew added care warranty's for 94's was 12/31/02. Mine expires October 15th this year. Or does anyone know the criteria used for added care renewals.
My only experience with Jon is recent. I purchased a mopar wing and he was able to arrange for me to pick up the item at a local Dodge dealer saving shipping and getting it immediately...great transaction!...2 days later I get a voice mail from him threatening me for payment ( I had mailed my...
I just installed mine, I would recommend putting an old sheet down in your trunk so all of the debris is contained. The plastic dust is nasty. Once installed you will have no regrets!
Try six, I just installed mine. With only four it could fly off! Very painful to drill but it looks great, in fact since owning the car for over five years, it seems to get more attention now than before...needless to say it's never coming off.
Thanks to Chuck G...On Gen 1 cars, locate the fuse box(under dash, passenger side). Disconnect power(in engine bay). Relocate red/blue stripe wire at #2 fuse, to the #10 fuse location. Reconnect power. Should be able switch on fog lights anytime(with ignition switch on). Did my '94 years ago...
Same thing happened to me 2 years ago. I had purchased a new Mopar 770 battery only 6 months earlier. Had battery tender on it as well, finally pulled the battery & found it had a bad cell. Dealer gave me a replacement no questions, no problems since.
Anyone using \"mystery\" switch for fan on/off control?
Was out today tinkering with my fuse box changing my fog lights to run independently on their own (was easy and works great) and got to thinking about using the mystery switch to control the engine cooling fan. Has anyone done this using...
Re: Supercharger news & availability (Gen 2 AND Gen 1) ......
Sean, will there be any different installation options on Gen1's with or without A/C?
There is no internet coupon. Best price online is $169 + $5.95 handling. There is a $10 email coupon for store purchases but prices are usually higher at their stores and then you have to pay sales tax as well. Red and blue ones are $20 more. See earlier post on this a few days ago for how to...
You can also use the cigarette lighter adapter which eliminates having to open/close the hood. Works fine on my 94 however may not work on newer cars if the lighter isn't hot all the time.
I just bought one online last week. Best price online for the silver color is $169, use # 47246-4xxx, xxx being whatever catalog three digit code you have handy. Whenever you buy online use the tab "order from printed catalog" and search for the best price using the highest # like "-4" above...
Sean, Do you expect to have 2 different configurations for Gen 1's, one for non-A/C and one for A/C? It would seem that non A/C cars like mine would require a less complicated set-up.
I just had the same job done on my 94 by my viper tech under the added care warranty for a $100 deductable. Might want to check and see if your car qualfies for a warranty and buy one. Had all of the gaskets replaced including the main seal that was leaking as well, no liner slippage, so good...
This post has got me thinking if I can extend my warranty on my 94 even further to protect me from the dreaded head gasket/arrow experience. I purchased a 4/48 added care from Latham Motors in late '99 for a sharp price of $1,150. My added care expires on 10/03. My in service date for my '94 is...
As I walk to work daily in downtown Seattle the dolphins stare at me at Cosmopolitan Motors. Thank god they also have another normal viper and a XJ220 to look at...
