it's a friend's shop in Glenview. i trust that they wouldn't take my car out for a "spin." my girlfriend saw one on 294 close to Willow (not far from where his shop is).
just more proof that the yellow vipers are the fastest. no others could have made it from Minnesota to South Carolina and back to Chicago in one weekend. my car rules!
i just ordered mine from cutting edge graphics in Canada. only $19.99
thier web site is www.cegraphics.com
if you do a search under the same topic, you'll see someone included a picture of the decal they made for him. if i was a computer guru, i'd hook you up with the link. but i'm pretty...
my check engine light came back on last week. i was having him run diagnostics to see what the problem was and i assume he was just taking it out to make sure everything was okey-dokey. why would you want to go and make me all paranoid? my girlfriend told me she saw me out driving on Sunday and...
it happened on the street right in front of his shop. the funny thing is, when i pulled into his parking lot, i saw the giant trail of oil leading right into one of his bays and i kinda laughed at "someone else's misfortune..."
paper beats rock, rock beats oil pan.
my mechanic had my car out for a test drive yesterday when an oncoming truck spit a rock right in front of him. he drove over it, it hit the oil pan, and it took out an entire chunk of 1 corner - about 1/2" wide x 1-1/2" long.
good news - i got a free oil...
that's the one i saw. not too crazy about it. i saw some nice ones at VOI. i should have asked people there.
i ordered the emblems through my Dodge dealer. they were $50 and change/ea. i guess your Mopar dealer is the only place you can get them through. yeah, i ended that sentence with a...
yeah, that looks really good. i got my new emblems on order and should have them by Thursday. any ideas on where to get a decent looking "DODGE" or "VIPER" banner for the windshield? or am i really pushing my luck now?
well, since none of you can make up your mind as to which is better, i think i'm just going to have to go to both and decide for myself. even if it takes the rest of my life....
"down there" is Daytona, Fl. i heard that "Biketoberfest" is not nearly half as good as "bike week" in March. think i'm going to wait to go to that next year.
the person who took the photo is listed in the vendor packet that was included with the convention itinerarry. i will look into it when i get home tonite and let you know tomorrow. unless anyone has that packet readily available?
well, that's what i would hope. it was tough driving because traffic was so packed. whoever was in the lead always seemed to catch a break and find an opening that closed one second later.
...on the way home from Nashville yesterday. Traffic was extremely packed. he did pass slower traffic on the right on an entrance ramp. didn't know that was legal. hell, in that case i would have just passed everyone on the shoulder. however, in the immortal words of James T. Kirk: "I need more...
Re: it\'s not supposed to rain.........
i was at this hotel last year for a convention, and yes, the hotel and Nashville in general is quite awesome. but as this is my first ever Viper outing, i wasn't sure how much fun it would be participating in all the scheduled events if it's pouring out.
