Does anyone of you in the South Florida are have one?
How do you guys renew it? It looks like you have to compete in two SCCA events a year to keep it? Do you race the Viper?
Has anyone taken their Viper to an Autocross? Any advice on tire presures?
I am going to my first one this Sunday. It looks like the Stock Viper is in "Super Stock" with the 911's and Z06's.
I have never even tried the HP/TQ rating. The quarter mile is excellent and the 0-60.
The Road Racing upgrade is really cool for tracking your smoothness in the turns and your maximum g's.
I live in South Florida so frezing is the least of my concerns.
I only read about the Wetter product. I have not tried it. I am going to research your suggestion and see if I can try it.
If you ask a dealer everything is normal unless the transmission falls on the ground.
My driveline did not make a clunk for the first year. It seems funny that it's normal when it just started a couple of months ago.
I have been researching cooling issues lately and one suggestion I can make is try the Redline WaterWetter. It's supposed to lower the engine temperature by 30 degrees.
I took it to the dragstrip and the times were within 0.1 seconds. No need to go to the gragstrip anymore, it is that accurate.
And now you can download the road racing software that I look forward to using at the next track day.
I would like to add 6 point seatbelts to my GTS. I was searching the site and I found the link bellow:

Any ideas on how you mount these on a GTS (not ACR). It's strange, the passenger seat has a hook that looks like it was made for a...
Ok, went to the track day. Had an awesome time. Ended up using the PFC 01 for the front and Brakeman 3 for the back. Motul 600 brake fluid. Braking was not an issue any more.
The Viper was more than up for the challenge. I was passing by Corvettes and Z06's like they were not there. The only...
Mostly because "interesting" cars cost a lot more to repair.
With the Vette you get similar problems as the Viper. Low ground clearance, people stealing the badges, tire caps. If you don't have SAFE parking stick with a normal car.
I agree with you that track tires would be great, but you are raising the cost of this adventure from a couple of hundred to thousands, not counting the need for a trailer.
Maybe I'll just use the new pads at the track then.
P.S.: Any idea how much break fluid I need to completely flush the...
I don't know. From what I have heard the race pads only grip once they heat up past 600%. But nevertheless I will try them on the treet and see what happens.
