    Removing tranny

If it's anything like a Gen2 (highly possible) there is a pry point just above the clutch coupler, see here http://forums.viperclub.org/threads/621507-Rear-Crankshaft-Oil-Seal-Replacement-(including-pilot-bearing)-on-a-96-GTS I don't mean this to sound sarcastic but you have taken the right 8...

    Small Oil Leak Help Plz

Oil cooler hoses are also a known leak-point caused by the SS brade rubbing breaking and puncturing the inner hose. The oli filter and housing are situated in the same area too. That is one significantly upgraded Snake - Hope you get it sorted - 96 GTS are the best. Good luck.

Want to add HP to my 01 GTS cream puff!

Yeh you could get more power by changing the cam BUT as Camfab says, it is costly especially if you consider the garage time costs - it's not a straightforward bolt-on task! Other things can be done though - there are lots of threads out here on upgrades and 'bang for buck' - assuming you've...

    Schrader Valve Question

Hi Tony, Is that fuel gauge install for a one-off test or are you permanently installing a pressure measuring instrument? The reason I ask is because I have a pressure sender installed directly to the inlet manifold - no Shrader valve their at all. Ade.

    Note the wheel hop.

Congrats on your new GTS. Nice vid's too. I think your other video shows the hop better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QluywkoCYU&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL Like Tagoo says, upgrading the engine and tranny mounts is meant to help this problem - but waddabout stiffening your rear...

Installing Woodhouse Performance Engine, Motor mounts on a Dodge Viper

Nice one Jay. :2tu: Thanks for sharing. Ironically I've just (yesterday) replaced my engine mounts too. Maybe slightly eaiser for me as no bolts seized and my exhaust manifolds were already removed for something else. Love the vid too. As the video started I was sooo envious of your...

What causes ACR dampers to leak?

My diagnosis is .... It's withdrawal symptoms. It wants the track. Give it more track. "Drive like u stole it." Seriously, hope you get this sorted - lots of people watching.

    clutch and brake fluid

I vote Castrol SRF too - but having said that, I drive my snake 'hard' when I go to the track. Hard on throttle - hard on brakes. My brakes never fail. Depending on your driving/braking 'habits' (almost used the word 'skills' their but managed to hold back :D) you could think about intalling...

Thanks Chris. :2tu: Good progress this afternoon – managed to get both exhaust headers and cats out. Okay, it took me a little longer than an afternoon but when you consider the car is 15 years old, you’re gonna get some rusty nuts. Having said that, the exhaust header bolts came out like...
