    I plan on being in Mt Airy MD on Saturday at the VCA meet, see you there? I recall reading that low frequencies have no direction so sub woofers can be placed anywhere in a room. Could it be the frequency of the exhaust note and not the loudness?

    I doubt the S/C will cause it to be much louder. Roe recommends hiflo because of overheating stock cats.I briefly tested the S/C before installing the Roe cats and was so excited about the wheel spinning power and slight whine, I did not notice the exhaust sound.

    TOO LOUD!If you want attention this setup will do it.The tone is a DEEP ground pounding muscle car tone but also LOUD. Has anyone installed a conventional muffler in the Corsa system to help quite it down? Any suggestions? Rick

    I don't normally post on matters of personal taste but I recently entered my GTS in a local benefit car show and met many Viper admirers. Nobody had a positive comment about the Viper SRT. It appears that the original design team is still involved with this coupe. DC,listen to the public.

    Yes it will fit but it does NOT clear the pulley on my Roe S/C. GTS. I have a burn mark near the fangs.

    That's probably the result of the parts sharing initiative with Mercedes. The dip stick is probably from an SL whatyacallit.

    Finished my Detert short shift shaft installation

    Matt if all else fails remove the shifter from the transmission. Do a search on installing the B&M Ripper Shifter for the details.It will take about an hour to remove and reinstall. Rick

    Why would a mechanic check the bolt torque? It's not a part of routine maintenance. Access is limited and it's difficult to see without a small mirror. Could it be a Viper only issue? Does the truck engine have a keyed crank? If DC had enough warranty claims from damaged engines their solution...

    Dodge engineers did not key the crank which would prevent the pulley from turning if the bolt came loose.It doesn't help that the bolt is a right hand thread. :mad: Sean provides a fixture and pins to fix this.It requires that you remove the crank bolt,which you can do while your waiting for...
