Bellanger header bolt torque spec
I used the stock spec of 16 ft lbs, but it was impossible to get the torque wrench on some bolts. There have been posts about Belanger gasket failures. If you are installing the Belanger gaskets be certain to retorque after several heat cycles.- Mr Hemi Head

I have a Hen car
There have been posts that some Hen cars made no more power on a dyno than a stock Viper. So does the Hen sticker mod loose it's effectiveness over time?- Mr Hemi Head

and IMHO the software should come with a wideband system as well. Sean would probably do better if he supplied the software free and then charge $95/hr for tuning support, but he does not. Please be aware that some of these are A/F gauges that connect to the stock O2 sensor. That will not provide useful information for tuning. Also verify that the VEC will read the output of the gauge you select. I know Innovative and DynoJet work. Check with Roe or the VCA forum about the other...- Mr Hemi Head

Look here under downloads VEC2 3.50 zip. Not sure if this a demo program or Sean is now giving it away. It was about $100 and that included the serial cable and pigtails for your inputs. Beginners can log and save the data then E mail the info to a VCA forum expert or to Sean Roe. The fuel/timing tables will be modified and returned by Email. You load that into the VEC and do another logging run and compare the results. Compare the tables from each tune to get the hang of what...- Mr Hemi Head

Someone else got a great Christmas present
Oh man the good ol days. I drove a 70 Dart Swinger 340 4 speed car back in the 70s and that car was a screamer. But a Hemi with glass fenders, hood :shocked: :shocked: :shocked: and other lightweight stuff must be real scary.- Mr Hemi Head

Suggestions for WINTER project....?
The Belangers are supplied with a turn out pipe that connects between the collectors and your present exhaust system. The flex pipe gets tossed. Don't know about the other makes.- Mr Hemi Head

Define LOUD. :confused: The meaning is different for each of us. To help with your decision go to a VCA meet and listen to the variety of systems. BTW owned a stock 70 Hemi Challenger/SE (yellow) in the early 80s. :2tu:- Mr Hemi Head

after reading your original post on this I thought we were ripped off in a BIG way. However $500 is slightly less than the cost of our setup, without the operator. Exhaust set-up Question?
Installed in the Corsa 3" tail pipe with 1 SS nut and bolt for each. With Belangers and their hiflo cats it was too loud. The cones made it just right from idle to about 2K rpms. The digital salute (middle finger) may help in some situations. :eek:- Mr Hemi Head

Exhaust set-up Question?

Taming the high flo cat - Holy Grail for Ears.
inserted these near the exhaust tips. (3" size) http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=dtc-72-32510 With the Roe, Belanger headers, hi flo cats and Corsa these quieted the exhaust just right, at cruising and idle.- Mr Hemi Head
