why? its a stainless line and is designed to come off at the master with that pin. i replaced the slave so i had to use a grinder to get to the metal clip in the old slave to come out but did not damage the new one in any way and i replaced the o-ring. the old line snapped right in with no...
There should be a plastic ring on the out of part, push that in while pulling out on the line. Mine had somehow come off so I pulled the line at the master. It wad a small rolled pin that you can push out then remove the line.
here is a how to... pull the radio bezel, use a screwdriver to remove the switches. find the pins that the switch uses and put a switched hot wire in to the number 6 spot, and a ground to the number 7 spot. the numbers are labeled on the inside of the actual switch usually covered by the plug...
I just put the later model dash in my 96. it makes a huge difference! keep in mind that the new dash has the airbag switch which ours does not have so you'll have 2 holes that need to be plugged. I used 2 of the round switches from autozone and got a wire from the airbag to run through a...
Radar detectors work great in our area of texas. Lots of flat roads maean you can pick them up for miles. however, if you are going to speed, ALWAYS have a rabbit. if you are the only one on the road for a mile, the first time he turns on the radar will be when he sees you and at that point...
you can get something similar by using the image>adjustments>exposure, then changing the exposure and gamma. this shot may have been a HDR shot but may have not been and just been over processed
the little button that opens the door is not releasing all the way so it keeps triggering the circuit. it may not be the black button itsself but the actuator that the black button pushes on
I'm looking for a set of Gen 2 gauges. I'm trying the KNG SNKE gauge face modification and would like a few to mess around with to find a color combo i like without having the dash always out of the car. I currently have black with white letters but the black shines through too much. I think...
This is very easy to do. I just did a 2nd gen of the 2nd gen dash retrofit into my car and i had to change the switches from the 96-97 version to the 98+ version. I had the switches apart and it'd be very easy to change to color of that LED. I had to take the swithces apart to figure out the...
i just finished doing mine. Thanks for the write up. I have 2 gauges that dont work right. the fuel gauge moves freely but always goes to the same position at just under 3/4 tank. the tach needle came most of the way off before pulling out the post. i got it back in straight and it works...
i started messing with the switch with a volt meter and figured it out. i'll post for future reference if anyone wants to swap to the textured dash from the really cheap looking one from a 96-97. ports 1 and 4 are connected so either one can have a positive or negative but not both. 2 and 3...
i just got a 98 dash to replace the cracked one for my 96. the window switches are different and my harness does not match up. i'm trying to find out the pin-outs of the new switch so i can wire it in. any help would be greatly appreciated.
i already have the scissor doors and the top chopped off to make it a targa top, any other ideas? and what good would throwing a dolphin at it do? i've hit a coyote, is it animal specific or would any old mammal do?
i'd like to see more of the red GTS with the SRT driver stripe theme. I have a 96 that needs paint and i'm thinking of doing the same but with blue and a white driver stripe. a few better pics would let me photoshop it to see what it would look like
