    Get rid of them tampons! I can't believe there isn't any power increase.They can and will go bad and you don't want to buy them.I cut mine with a Borla and was told it was the best sounding Viper they had ever heard.I think it rocks.

    Someone show me where the harmonic balancer is.....

    You can get to it to check it without removing anything.Mine has stayed tight with periodic checks to keep my sanity.Its a 1 1/4 socket that fits it.Same with power cap,I just tightened it as tight as I could and put a tube with two zip ties on it and it never has moved.

    Feedback and ideas...

    A nice inner tube cut to width and zipped tied doesn't show and is cheap fix.Mine has never even came close to being loose,just like the dampner bolt .I think these are like any cars,they are only assembled as good as the people who does it.

    Cat upgrade on otherwise stock exhaust. Recommendations?

    Get a recip saw and have at it.If you can remove them do it.I just took mine off and had a Mustang guy say it was the best sounding Viper he has ever heard.I also have a Borla catback so it isn't too loud.

    oil drain plug and differential drain plug

    Get a six point socket 1/2 inch and it will get it off.The six will help not to round it off.If this don't work get a small cheater pipe.

    What kind of intake should I get

    Do a search.I saw a dyno test somewhere that tested cones.stock,k&ns,etc.You would be suprised at stock with k&n.I debafeled mine for more ram effect.
