    HELP! Diagnose drivetrain noise?

    Rear end going away? Perhaps it only makes noise when there's a load on the ring and pinion or bearings, hense why it goes away with the clutch in or coasting.. It would be interesting to get the back tires off the ground and rotate them by hand to see what it feels like. Good luck,,,,,

    I bet that they both are very close after factoring the rear gears and there would be no advantage. Viper runs a 3.07 stock, what's the ZR1 use?

    However, when the car sits and cools, coolant can be drawn into a cylinder or cylinders. If the leak is bad enough, not only will it blow white smoke/steam on startup, but it can hydrostatic lock the motor. As me how I know....:crazy2:
