I've decided to start selling off some of my Viper memorabilia and accessories, including a couple VOI 6 goodies:

VOI 6 Banner

Bburago 1:24 red/white stripe GTS
Bburago 1:24 white RT/10
VCA Helmet Bag
ZAF Exhaust Tips
I can't believe I'm the first person to post this (and if I'm not, it's worth posting again!)

If I would have known Paolo was going to be in the news I would have bought him a razor...

Hi, Jacob. I have many issues scattered ALL OVER the house (at "strategic locations") as well as quite a number in the transporter and in my daily driver, and in the garage, ... You get the...
In case you couldn't make the biggest Viper show on earth, don't despair. Simply put all of your Viper models in the bathtub, turn on the shower, and you can recreate VOI7 right in your house.
Great pictures, Greg! It's almost like being there! Oh, that's right, I was there...
That's Jack in the red/white coupe.
Good talking to ya when you were on Zaino patrol.
It's been a while since I took mine apart, but now that you have the red clip out, isn't there a latch that you can either push in or pull out and then the halves can be pulled apart? I remember that as being the toughest part of upgrading my fan...
Welcome aboard! I dunno about the exhaust you are talking about but the best sounding Viper exhaust bar none is the complete Belanger system (headers and 3" exhaust), IMHO.
A group of Dodge execs were looking for a venue to host VOI7. To make this a perfect event they decided to hire 1bad gts as a consultant to scout the venues. They figure he is critical of everything and will be perfect for the job. The plan was for 1bad to visit up to 5 venues, stopping when...
After a ride yesterday I went to roll the windows up and the driver's window got about half way up and the the motor ground to a halt. I was able to roll it back down but it did the same thing when I tried rolling it up again. On the second try I grabbed the top of the glass and gave it a...
I recently installed the BTR/Belanger headers and exhaust. I just wanted to give kudos to Tom and Lou for their excellent product and customer service.
I installed the the entire system in my garage and I'd have to say that for a novice it went fairly smooth. Tom and Lou were always available...
Thursday meet at Uno\'s in Schaumburg
Looks like the weather will be perfect, so come on out and kick it with the gang at Pizzeria Uno's in Schaumburg. Technically we hang out in the lot closest to Pan(t)era Bread, but who's counting? It's at the SE corner of Meacham and Golf, starting at...
Last year my car did 401 RWHP and 449 LB-FT bone stock with 1800 miles.
Today I did 4 pulls:
VEC-1 set to 0,0 (essentially turned off):
420 RWHP / 456 LB-FT
422 RWHP / 459 LB-FT
VEC-1 set to +14 (Low), -16 (High):
428 RWHP / 465 LB-FT
428 RWHP / 464 LB-FT
Other changes from last year are...
Did someone here mention that leaving the hood open will drain your battery because of the alarm switch being released? I tried looking in the archives, but no luck. I had my hood open all weekend while working on the car. I go to start it last night and was greeted with...
The dirt you are describing is just one of the joys of Viper ownership. I suggest the following:
1. Put a few extra coats of Zaino on the rear fascia to aid in dirt removal. Helps to do this on the front to aid in bug removal.
2. Use a California Car Duster to remove the loose dust/dirt...
Congrats on the arrival of your new snake! The blue/silver ACR has to be one of the all time greatest Viper color combos (besides blue and white, of course ).
Hey Steve, could you just put the front plate on the dash? Maybe rig something so it doesn't go flying around the car. Anything to keep from drilling the fascia!
Good luck.
Been there, done that. You can use straight vinegar - this is from Mr. Zaino himself. After the vinegar treatment I like to use some Z-6 just for good measure. Then I use whichever polish I want (Z-2 or Z-5). Works for me... hope this helps.
Well, it finally happened. My 97 developed the infamous IM gasket leak. Me and a buddy are going to perform the operation when the parts arrive. Any tips, tricks or advise from those who have 'been there, done that' would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Did I hear that right?? I almost spit my drink all over the coffee table when I heard that come over the tv! I thought they said he was filling in for somebody else. Anybody know about this?
What you are describing sounds pretty normal. As long as the fan kicks on when it is a few needle widths past the third line you should be fine. If it goes to the next one over (230, I believe) than you might have problems. Of course during hard driving or racing you will see some higher...
