Something to consider is the conditions for Classic Car Insurance Policies.
Your vehicle may have to meet certain criteria established by insurance companies that sell classic car insurance. For example, your insurer may require you to submit a value documentation or appraisal before they will...
Smart one... I'll excuse your ignorance this one last time ;) as I was part of the first group of enthusiasts that initially bought in at our local track when it first opened where I tracked my supercharged Gen 3 and NA Gen 4 ... what were you saying?. Listen, like several of us Gen V owners...
Fact, Laguna Seca, USA... #1 slot, Viper TA 1:33.62 and no wing. Maybe you forgot the additional 40 lb-ft too.:dunno:
Sure a Gen 5 ACR with wing/active aero and more downforce would be faster yet but it's not currently in production...
I would think that the TA will rather certainly best the Gen iV ACR at the ring by several seconds and most probably the GTS equipped with P-Zero Corsas should be very close maybe even best it as well. Can't get around the Gen V's extra power, better gearing, improved suspension geometry and...
Renewal... donation? There are certainly a number of material factors that one might consider such as transparency issues, the raffle debacle, etc but even based on Chrysler's 'letter' [and the lack of its apparent compliance by the VCA], it would seem questionable whether they'll be "renewing"...
Yes they do but the current 1 piece rotors just don't fit with the racing style center-locks. Swapping that iron out with 2 piece StopTech lightweight AeroRotors would complete the look sweet and improve braking performance.
Given the same size a DOHC configuration would weigh more and that weight would be carried up high in the motor which isn't a good thing for handling. The Viper's pushrod 8.4L is more compact, weighs less, and more importantly delivers torque down low, nearly 80% of its 600 lb ft torque is...
First off the GT-R you rave about isn't anything to look at, in fact most consider it darn right fugly. Now who wants to drive a Frankenstein car anyway - not the vast majority of folks that frequent this or other Viper sites as we want exotic styling and big cubic performance (amongst other...
0-60 in [a guesstimate of] two [something] and how many transmissions is that going to take? Also that Nissan variant, if/when released, will be down 75 horsepower from the current Viper. Add headers to the Viper and now it's down 125+ horsepower. How's that going to bode in roll-on or other...
The Gen 5 Viper's height is listed at 44.0" while the Corvette C7's is 48.6", so the Vette is a good bit taller. Also, the Viper is nearly 2" wider giving it a wider lower profile stance which at the very least is more visually appealing.
Received the VCA membership "pitch letter" today. Surely those that received this letter will find that it raised more questions than it answered. Much of its 10 pages was an apparent attempt to discredit the new VOA and its founders. It seems rather unlikely that the recent botched raffle nor...
