My problem was the ignition switch. I should have trusted my 1st instinct when I noticed I was not getting power to my window switches to go back to the start of the circuit. This fixed all the problems I had in the car from the climate control, rear defroster and power windows. I did not look...
I think I finally found my problem in the ignition switch. If I ran the wiring diagram correctly the Black/Orange wire comes from the ign switch to the windows. If the ign is in the run position this wire should be hot. Please correct me if I am wrong. I think the switch is a comon part to most...
Ok this is what I have so far. I checked the door wiring harnesses, switches, circuit breaker, grounds and taking a break. I do have all factory manuals and the viper tech training books. I do have a good ground but I am reading about 20k resistance from my hot wire to my ground on the wiring...
Already talked to Chuck. He was helpfull and thankfully talked me out of ordering new wiring harness. Unfortunately that is not the problem. I have checked the wiring harness in both doors and the window regulators and the switches and the circuit breaker. I think I have a short somewhere that I...
I have a very strange power window problem on my 2000 GTS. Both power windows will not work. Last time i drove it I had an intermittent problem with the pass window not going up but then it worked fine. Now I have been tracing wires for a day and cant find the problem. I am not getting power to...
I just noticed that I do not have a Dodge emblem on my car. The emlem on the rear bumper reads Chrysler. I was looking at a RT10 that had Dodge on it. Do all GTS's have Chrysler on them or just some years?
I am just gauging interest in my car I hate to sell it but I may need to soon as I am being recalled to active duty again and will need the money. I purchased the car in 2002. Prior to that it was used by Dodge as a promo car on an MTV celebrity race and some other racing. It had the all the...
If they are leaking you need to rebuild them now. If you let it go too long you may end up replacing worn parts in the shock which will cost more. From what I hear you need to rebuild them if the car is bouncing and you cant get it adjusted out. I would also change to a lower spring rate while...
For under $1000 I would stay stock with upgraded pads and some sort of brake cooling either the Porsche air deflectors or a custom built system like the Cone system. This is for track use. If you don't track the car use street pads for less dust and noise. Daves setup is great but will cost you...
Autoform makes side sills in fiberglass and carbon. I have seen them on one car and they looked great. I have been considering using them to go to side exhaust. They are a little over $900 for the pair in fiberglass, I think. I don't know if they will hold up to the heat the cats make which is...
I also lost one. I checked the others and caught the 2 others before they fell out. I now have a new set sitting in the tool box to save them and my BBS rims are stacked on the side to prevent damage.
Shouldn't have to pay a thing if they were not as described. I would get my money back. If I had trouble I would make sure to let others know so that they do not get ripped off. Also if you paid by credit card you can request a refund through the CC company. I have had to do that once before. It...
I am thinking of selling my ACR if the right offer comes up. It has about 20k miles. I also have a Caldwell built GTSR engine Still in crate with all accessories(dry sump pump, Alt, power steering pump), GTSR Tilton carbon carbon clutch asymbly with a fresh rebuild, Several sets of wheels...
4 qts transmission fluid + $16 a quart. Fluid for the axle $10. The rear axle does not have a drain plug. The fluid must be sucked out. Best idea is to drill the rear axle and put a plug in the housing. Time consuming but well worth it!
I have a set here. I have them on the car right now but after I put the Koni's back on I would be willing to part with them. It will be the end of April or start of May.
