    Isn't the hood liner supposed to be flame retardant? Seems to me that paint would defeat that purpose....may be something to think about.

    The Shelby GT500 Mustang is a cool car- but way too heavy to hang with a Viper. If he has done the overdrive pulley mod and upped the boost he may get the best of you in a qtr mi. drag, but no way he will hang on a track with some turns in the mix!

    uhmmm...Porsche set a new record at the ring with a GT2 RS- only a few seconds better than the Viper ACR- but they have likely had a good bit more practice time on the track since it is in their backyard so to speak-...

    That sounds more like polycarbonate than lexan. Acryllic is very brittle. Lexan is halfway in between. McMaster Carr sells all 3 in sheets.

    I believe you may need at least a 6" thick slab to mount the single post lift on......something to consider or at the least look into before purchase.

    I disagree with "The Viper has lost a lot of its uniqueness in the Gen 3 model, and with that gone, it is just an overweight beast to most people." That should read MOST PEOPLE THAT STILL HAVE GEN I or IIs... I happen to like the GenIII look of the vert much better...I sold my 97 Blue and White...
