Give me a f***ing break! Another I love Gary Almond thread. If you haven't figured it out by now... Gary IS the best around.. without question! :2tu:
Since you seem to know the inside scoop, what is Keith's "version" of the story? I'd like to hear it as would others here who might consider using him in the future.
After the inspection is done... what's the purpose of calling the guy? There is no recourse if you've already bought the car. It's unfortunate that these things happen and a PPI IS based purely on the word of an "Expert". If the inspector is in a hurry and merely glazed over the car... a lot...
Re: VIDEO OF THE 800+ HP VIPER !! BY M. SHUMOCKER (AKA ERDOC)
LOL! you got me there John Force oh, I mean Jon Force drag racing extraordinaire. BTW, it no longer has 3.55 gears... it just doesn't work with 825 rwhp. :o ;)
Re: Motor Trend isn\'t very hot about the new Viper
Yes, you're wrong.... SRT-10 does not break the 200 barrier in stock form. The list is very short for cars that can break 200 mph in stock form and they're all priced over 100K. There are less than a handful that ever broke the 220 mph...
Dude,
Settle down. The pics are prior to the supercharger installed and yes on the website the 1000 hp IS an estimate at the motor for some people who may not understand RWHP. If you want specifics then.... 825/.85= 970 HP at the crank if using a 15% drivetrain loss. A little...
This is a very good condition 1997 Blue and White GTS with 14,xxx miles. Paxton supercharger iwth air/water aftercooler was placed about 1,000 miles ago in March of 2005 by Jason Heffner. The system was used with about 5K miles on it at time of installation. The car has a BRAND NEW SRT gearbox...
I was driving an NSX during residency while making 37K per year. My rent was 350/ month and I was so busy... I didn't have time to spend money on anything else LOL!
Re: Honey... I\'m home... (w/ my new 05 SRT-10)
Wow... that's so sweet. ;) I think I'm gonna cry too. No really, that was a very nice gesture by Jon.... yes, he is capable of doing things like this as hard as it is to believe. :2tu:
Yeah right... just ran quotes for a boxster and a 745i enclosed (only option)... $1,557 and $1,337 respectively for door to door from Bradenton to Raleigh about 720 miles. Probably the most expensive I've seen.
For higher end cars like Vipers, Ferraris etc... I like to use Gary Almond but I have a couple of cars I need transported via open carrier or the cheapest yet safe route possible. Who do you guys use?
