Rear speaker grille removal - 96GTS

I have already replaced my rear speakers years ago but could never figure out to remove the rear speaker grill covers that are attached to the carpeting. They are attached with what looks like 3 round metal rivets going through a cardboard ring. I can turn them with needle nose pliers but they...

    Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner

I sprayed two cans of this cleaner (one in each throttle body) with the engine running and it really seemed to smooth out the idle and seemed to make the motor run better. Not sure if its placebo effect or it really cleaned things up. Anyone else use this...

Any advice on what type of paint to use or general "how-to" on repainting the black hood grille covers? They are off the car and I would like to get them looking like new again.

    How to remove shocks?

After reading the Eibach spring thread, I thought I would search to see if anyone had posted some instructions on removing the shocks on a GTS, but couldn't find one. I've heard many saying it's very easy, but it would be great if someone could post a write up with pictures for those of us who...

What is normal range for the voltmeter?

My voltmeter is reading 11.7 - 12.8 volts when cruising (I have a digital voltage gage). I think I remember it being over 13.5 volts before but I'm not sure. I'm just wondering if my alternator is going bad as I have a new battery. Is my voltage too low?

Thoughts on cleaning/reconditioning underhood plastic and vinyl

Any advice on how to get all that underhood plastic and vinyl looking better? 12 years and 62K miles hasn't been too kind. Will Vinylex be okay to use considering the high temps?

    Roe's cats vs. Random Tech's

After reading the posts with all the problems some are having with Random Tech cats (and the problems getting RT to replace cats under warranty), I'm wondering if Roe's would be a better choice given Sean's superb customer service reputation? Has anyone had similar problems with Roe's cats or...

    Loud belt noise

Im getting a really loud belt noise (maybe the fanbelt?). Usually stops after the car has been running for a while but starts up again if I turn on the AC, then stops 2-5 seconds after switching the AC off. Im taking the car into DC Performance this week but wanted to know if anyone had ideas if...

    The origin of "Sneaky Pete"

The origin of \"Sneaky Pete\" Does anyone know how the original Viper logo got the nickname "Sneaky Pete"? Dont flame me if this has been posted before, I was a good boy and searched the forums first. Which means I did a search for "Sneaky Pete" and came up with 10,000,000 matches and decided...

Roe vs. Paxton/Vortech superchargers. Which is better?

From what I understand, roots blowers like the Roe have a flatter power curve versus centrifugal blowers like Paxton/Vortech which make more power linearly as rpms go up. Even though roots blowers may not always make as much peak power as centrifugals, the area under the HP curve is greater, and...
