The looks the effortless torque and the exclusivity. Here in Europe not many people know what a Viper is but they love it when they see it. Gets more attention than a Ferrari which are quite common by comparison. I do drive it quickly whenever I get a chance, and I love it!

Here in the UK its difficult to get any 10/30. Main dealers use Mobil 1 in 0/40 fully synth and my 04 runs fine on this. Newer Corvettes run this also with no problems although book says 10/30 for them.

I do sypathise having done the same thing (I have a 2004 SRT). Unfortunately this was as the result of a customs search en route to France. Being stuck in no mans land at Dover Docks with a ferry to catch, desparate measures were called for. There was an onsite emergency crew who lent me a slide...
The battery is located under a metal plate held down with 6 torx bolts under the carpet on the left hand side of the boot/trunk. I am just about to put mine away for the winter but will leave the battery in place and use the terminal under the bonnet/hood and connect a battery conditioner.

Here in the UK American cars generally are rare particularly Vipers, I can only remember seeing one ever on the roads outside of car club events. Ferraris and certainly Porsches are quite common here and C5 Corvettes are on the increase.
