Premium fuel, tire pressure, warm it up, drive with head screwed on squarely and open hood to cool it down once finished. You guys are right, who needs a full blown freegin checklist? Drive the damn thing! I'll polish it too! (promise)
Well now I guess those are the words I really wanted to hear anyway. Party on Garth, and enjoy yourself doing it bro! All systems go for Viper acquisition by the 4th of July ghostwriter, as the viper is indeed a symbol of our ultimate American kick A$$ freedom!
Hey Dave, I'll be getting one in June! Just getting an edumacation before taking the wheel.
Some folks say once you Modify one upto around 700 horses that indeed it is more like flying than driving!
I agree folks that basically you just drive it and enjoy it but there are always some helpful...
Sort of an off the wall question here gents, but Charlie (VCA new york chapter) brought out a good point about driving the Viper, Rule #1. respect the cars power or the Viper will bite you back!
Q'1.: What if any are your golden rules when operating the beast?
Q'2.: What are your normal...
No wonder everyone talks about modifying their rides. There is so much you can improve on with this baby.
Anyone consider using 4:11 gearing?
P.S. What exactly are these tubes?
Yep, that was the polished supercharger. O.K. then does someone have a link to a turbocharger supplier?
Now can someone tell me how much horsepower a supercharger will add as opposed to a turbocharger?
What's the average cost for a turbo?
Thanks gents, I know I'm asking a lot a questions...

The turbo charger at $7,500 seems within reach, but I'm still wondering what type of Pony power increase it will...
Don't get me wrong Inferno, I really am asking why not do something like a turbo to give her a real kick. Now a twin turbo sounds like it would cost twice as much.
P.S. How much would a single turbo mod run $$$$ and what type of horsepower increase on average would result?
What does changing...
With the help of everyone here, I'm leaning towards buying a 97,98 or a 99 RT, Now the next question is what would be the best modification to make to the car in consideration of higher performance?
O.K. as mentioned I'll probably stick with the 97' now for the final stupid question from the F.N.G.(lol) What are the significant differences between the RT and the GTS models. (I know I could probably research this) but I want the man on the street's answers here, not some design engineers...
Well, I'll be looking closely at the 97's and 99's as a result of all the advice here. Thanks for everything fellas, I'll let you know what shakes out down the road on this one.
AAARRRGGGG, this is getting tougher by the minute. I'LL TAKE ONE OF EACH! (I WISH) O.K. Mastiff mentioned the 99 model is for purists so I like that idea but does that mean the 97 was refined to much to be considered all muscle too. (I'm an old vette owner, and mopar too!
I would go for the...
