    Stated Value... Not that great Stated value is not always a great idea. If you wreck your car and do 50000 of damage they will repair it... Can you image how bad that repair time and result will be? Be carefull about your excitement. You'll be wishing they valued it at 45k and totalled it...

    I can't see spending 3-600$ just to decrease the fan temp kick-on to take advantage of the 170* thermostat with no need for the other capabilities of most tuners. A buddy works for a shop and has all of the tools that dealers have but doesn't know that this would be an option. Thanks!

    The Corsa he had on his 01 GTs had 2 cylinder mufflers. At their lowest point, they are lower than the sock muffler.. at least they were in '03, unless it's been redesigned. I promise i'm not making it up. Maybe someone has pics.

    It looks like your car may be lowered in your sig... If so, I had a buddy with some clearance issues from time to time scraping speed bumps and driveways with the Corsa... Not sure how rare that is and not sure if they've changed it.

    Maybe they are painted with that "moon boot" paint that changes color when it's cold. BTW: I always laugh when people on this forum defend people's right to make their car ugly... no one is challenging the dude's right to screw his car up, but we're certainly allowed to express out opinions...

    You need to put it in perspective. Any new car you buy for 40K (and that's not going to be a very cool car) is going to be 20K in 5 years. I had a Mercedes CL600 that was 129K new ('01) and I bought it with 34K miles in 06 for 42K... In general, these cars are not going to go extremely...

    What causes this? w/PIX

    You don't have to have "alignment", 10 little pieces of metal anywhere on the pad will cut 10 groves as the rotor moves around them... just picture a little stone between the pad and disk... that'd cut a groove, right?

    Anyone know about this Carbon Fiber Intake?

    Could be the different radiator, but I don't think the factory box would allow the hood to close if the radiator was any taller. I'd put the bolts on loosly first, put the tubes and sleeves on loosly too, then start tightnening up. The tube angles force the back to come down, use good size...
