2014 bumblebee coming to park city

Well, not new, but I did take delivery of a gently used 2013 Track Pack car yesterday. Traded my 03. Wow. Congrats to you, by the way. Friend of mine has a Scud, and it's an amazing car, no doubt.

putting a 06 srt coupe in sleep mode

Battery should not go dead after a week sitting, so something else is going on. That being said, I leave my 03 in sleep mode whenever I put her back in the garage: Key in ignition, windows up Cycle key TOWARDS you, and back to off, 4 times Hit the drivers door lock button up, the car will chirp...

    Still Leaking Oil

This was before or after the repair? As I replied on the other site, I still have my minor mystery as well. Annoying.

    Mystery oil leak

Nothing yet. It's a mystery. Just monitoring for now.

Used Vipers will take a hit!

Same here with my 03 Allan. These are crazy stupid prices for a Gen 5, but the price (cash) differential is the same.

    Interior and exterior plastic

Allan, I have tried many tire and trim products (Mothers, Megs, Surf City) some are better than others. However, I keep coming back to Adam's Super VRT. Once you try it, I don't think you'll use much else. Pricey but a little goes a long way.

    Interior and exterior plastic

I like Adam's SVRT. One of the best products the market, especially on trim. and tires. And NO sling!. Use it on the Viper, and the trim and vinyl decals on the Suoerbee, Water based, non greasy.

May not have to worry about 2015 Z06

There are some monster built, street driven Cummins trucks in my truck club, and it's pretty amazing what they can do.

    Spun bearing issues?

If you have the funds, just go for a Gen 4. And I say they as an owner of a 2003. Not that I don't like my car, but the Gen 4, in addition to more power, has upgraded tranny, internals, diff, and others. That being said, the price difference between Gen 3 and Gen 4 is rather wide.

    Transmission Fluid Leak?

Thank you West, good to know.

    Transmission Fluid Leak?

Interesting. So you replaced your original gasket with another OEM, and then continued with the issue? Or you went right from the OEM to the Fel Pro? As Steve said, where my original leak was at the front of the pan. I wish "anal" wasn't my middle name....

    Transmission Fluid Leak?

Steve is correct, I'm WAY too anal! And he knows more about these cars than most Viper techs.

    Transmission Fluid Leak?

We used an OEM gasket. As Steve said above, it's not that. This leak is in a diferent spot.

    Transmission Fluid Leak?

Thank you. Tell me more if it is clutch fluid? What could be a possible cause ? I always thought (wrongly?) that a slave cylinder leak was at the front left area. Any insight appreciated, thanks folks. If rear main, I think I'll live with it.

    Transmission Fluid Leak?

Here's where I'm seeing it at the back of the pan, on the bolt that holds on (I think?) the transmission housing cover:

    Mystery oil leak

So here's two pics of where it's coming from, at the back of the pan. This is one of the bolts that holds on the (I think?) transmission housing cover:

    Mystery oil leak

Thank you Roy. Over the last couple years, I've tried all that. Most of the time, it seemed the oil was at the front of the pan, and also on the A/C hose. After we replaced the gasket, it seemed fine until recently. Now it seems like there may be a little more at the back of the pan, at least...

    Mystery oil leak

I know I'm in the wrong forum, but I'm having this same issue on m 03. Like the OP, already did my pan gasket, but now it's back. Never enough to drip on the ground. It's not the oil cooler lines, they were replaced a couple years ago, and they are dry, as is the engine. Had it back on Steve's...

    Transmission Fluid Leak?

Ick. I guess I'm living with it then...

    Transmission Fluid Leak?

Some of you here know that I had been having an odd oil leak in my 03 for a couple years. Had the cooler lines replaced previously and it wasn't them. Pretty sure it was the oil pan gasket, so Mopar Steve and I replaced that in his garage last February. That seem to solve the matter...

First time to the drag strip on my stock Gen 3

No, just saying you're right in line with where you should be. A little more practice, good air, and a good track, and I think you can get those times down.

First time to the drag strip on my stock Gen 3

The magazines got 11.8-9s in the quarter, and 3.9 0-60 on runflats, bone stock, 10 years ago. On modern PS2 or Super Sports, 3.7-8 or lower, and 11.7s in the quarter should be there. Gen 4s, take a half-second of those times.

Initial Impressions: Move from Gen IV Coupe to Gen V GTS

Me as well. I need to get of the Viper forums, or I might do something really stupid...
