...as far as street duty it lacks the fun factor on the highway with stock kit, stock motor. Seen several roll races where the viper had a hard time holding its own.
I guess that's why I use the term lame so loosely.
Your car has to feel suffocating on the highway now. Sick setup for sure now...
Wow you are a clown. Hate to break it to you but someone looking to buy a new gt500 for 60k WONT have a problem slipping into a used Viper. Remember sweetheart we aren't talking about used ferrari's and Lamborghini's. We are talking about a Dodge.
Silly corvettes with their puny ls7 and...
Life is to short to fall in love with one car or one car brand in general.
While I wish I could keep some I simply don't have deep enough pockets.
While I understand this is a viper forum and there will be a lot of one sidedness. It's cool to see there are still "car guys" out there.
I haven't...
Gen 3...have Greg good tweak your heads and get a custom cam. It will be cheaper and make better power than the gen4 or the mopar kit.
This was the route i was going to take with my gen3 until my Shelby purchase. Now it's going for sale.
Believe me its easy going from a gen 3 viper to a mustang ;)

The 3400lb viper isnt exactly super light either.
Still come with the 285 rears...with the launch control,3:31 gears, and different tranny ratio Ford claims no issue this year with traction. Rumor has it Ford was clicking mid 11's with 120+ trap.
Let's face it who keeps stock rubber on their cars...remember the viper era with the run flats...
I'm not that attached to the exclusiveness that is the viper. I'm a gearhead. Ford fan at heart. My 03 cobra is still the fastest car I owned and I've had the c6z06 and this viper after. So I'm not going to get all bent out of shape when I see a mustang in the garage or when I tell people I have...
Just incase anybody on here has people not on the forums interested in buying a gen3 viper. I have mine up for sale, just like the ad says i find myself riding motorcycles more than driving the viper...
Don't get me wrong it's not that bad I was just wondering shock prices. It's only noticeable on bridge decks and construction areas. Other than that I think it rides better than stock. I'm holding monies out for the TVS idea.
