    WTB: 2014 Orange TA

Yeah I wasn't especially crazy about that one since the owner owned Putnam Park and probably put it through the paces there. While these cars are no doubt designed for the race track, I'd still prefer one that hasn't been on the track since it'll likely have less brake and tire wear, less chance...

    WTB: 2014 Orange TA

I'm looking to get back into another orange TA and thought now might be a good time to post this up with the new ACR coming out in a couple months. Anyone looking to upgrade and want to sell their Orange TA 1.0? If so, please PM me or e-mail me at [email protected] Thanks.

Another rod bearing failure. This one was bought back by Chrysler!

And while some of you may think "what's the big deal if it gets fixed under warranty?" It IS a big deal. From my thread on the other forum... Here's why I'm hesitant to purchase another Gen V. Purchasing a car that you know may have a rod bearing issue down the road is ill-advised. I say...

Another blown engine here at 155 miles: http://driveviper.com/forums/threads/6157-Anyone-know-anyone-looking-for-a-white-TA-with-only-6-miles-on-it?p=90627&viewfull=1#post90627

Another rod bearing failure. This one was bought back by Chrysler!

If you read the whole story on the other forum you would have seen that having the engine replaced in my orange TA was not a realistic option for me. Since the dealer that sold me the orange TA marked the car as sold to the owner of the dealership prior to selling it to me, I was not due a...

Another rod bearing failure. This one was bought back by Chrysler!

Wow, this is a funny forum. I see why more enthusiasts hang out over at Driveviper. Night and day difference. Anyway, my old orange TA and the car in the Carfax report are two separate cars. There's also this one: http://youtu.be/AXvBsR-P8wg Here's the thread on that car with the rod knock...

Stock Viper TA vs Bolt-on GTR (Video)

It's a 2009 GTR. It's funny you should ask because I've been compiling a list. I'm aware of 12 in total including myself. This is just from the ones I've heard about on the forums. I'm sure there are a lot more. I'd love to know what the cause is. Or if it's something that's been fixed for 2015...

Stock Viper TA vs Bolt-on GTR (Video)

To make a long story short, a few weeks to a month later the car developed a rod knock with a little more than 5K miles on the odo. The engine had to be replaced. I wound up trading it back in to the original dealership that I bought it from and wound up with another brand new TA, this time a...

Stock Viper TA vs Bolt-on GTR (Video)

Thought I'd share a couple videos of my old TA versus my buddy's GTR. He has most of the bolt-ons including downpipes, catback, midpipe, injectors, fuel pumps, inlets and Cobb AP with a custom tune. Both of us were on 93 octane. My TA was bone stock and blew up a few weeks later...

Car now has 500 miles on it. Anyone looking for a 2 week old Time Attack (that's how long it's been driven since I took delivery of it)? :D

Anyone looking for a white TA with only 6 miles on it?

To make a long story short, I had an orange TA which I absolutely loved. I put 5K street miles on it in 3 months. The engine started developing a rod knock one night after doing a few pulls with my friends on the highway. The local dealer here in NY would not fix it under warranty claiming they...
