I have a non antenna 93. My battery is located in the drivers side rear fender well. My coolant bottles are in the passenger sider front fender well. Is this the most common setup for the 93 model year? The owners manual has the coolant listed in the right spot. However it still says the...
I would be very hesitant to buy one that was wrecked. You have to get a great deal on it, get it inspected, and be ok if it's not perfect. I would wait for another one if it were me.
Thanks for the info. I have been referencing this site pretty good here the last few days. The shop is one referred to me by another member here. They seem competent over the phone but I will make sure to look more into them.
I am taking my car in to have the gaskets replaced this week. Does anyone know which ones are the best to go with? I see there are aftermarket ones and also mopar gaskets. Any advantage of one over the other? I know price is more for mopar but they will come with a warranty. Any advice is...
Last Friday I was able to take the viper out for its first track day. The cars is all stock save for new fluids, tires, and pads. I was very safe while learning the new car and track, mid ohio. I was nervous about the brakes and chose to use my better judgment and not push them while learning...
I have noticed a clear fluid being left on my garage floor. It seems to be coming from the dead center on the engine but I have not jacked up the car to confirm where it is seeping from. It seems to evaporate but when I rub it between my fingers it does feel like it is not water. I don't have...
I got a 1993 viper and my owners manual says the battery is located under the spare tire and jack. Also states to remove the bolts and then open the cover. I can see no screws and their is no acces panel. I am going to mid ohio tomorrow and they want to inspect the battery. Any ideas.
Can't say for sure for you in Michigan but in some states there the buyer only pays tax on the difference. Since you would not have a difference on the price of the cars you may not pay tax. Simply call a dodge dealer and ask the salesperson if you only pay tax on the difference of a used car...
It's a 1993. I used to work for this dealer on the sales side and I know they are certified to sell and repair srt vipers. However they have not worked on one that I know of. I am putting ebc pads on and doing all the fluids to be safe. I am going to mid ohio this next week and would rather...
I am taking the viper in to get some brakes put on. The dealer told me they don't even know if it will fit on their lift. As I have seen them on lifts before I doubt there will be a problem. Is there any specific point where the lift should be positioned? I am guessing on the jack points but...
