    Buying a Gen IV Viper next weekend, need help!

    I would be very hesitant to buy one that was wrecked. You have to get a great deal on it, get it inspected, and be ok if it's not perfect. I would wait for another one if it were me.

    I got a 1993 viper and my owners manual says the battery is located under the spare tire and jack. Also states to remove the bolts and then open the cover. I can see no screws and their is no acces panel. I am going to mid ohio tomorrow and they want to inspect the battery. Any ideas.

    Can't say for sure for you in Michigan but in some states there the buyer only pays tax on the difference. Since you would not have a difference on the price of the cars you may not pay tax. Simply call a dodge dealer and ask the salesperson if you only pay tax on the difference of a used car...
