Why I’ve chosen the Gen V…a cross-shopper’s perspective
The Black TA is awesome looking and the orange accents is much more interesting than a regular black Viper. I really like the TA orange, but I wouldn't think twice about taking black (one of my favorite colors any way). Plus, that car is VERY sinister in that paint scheme. I'll admit that the Viper does not have enough power to make up for one's own insecurities and inadequacies (I don't mean you in particular, more as a generality). I agree that the P1 would have a MAJOR image problem if the Gen V ACR outran it at the ring. That said, if this reports is accurate, the P1 still hasn't beaten the ACR-X's lap time (7:03)! If that is all it takes to lower the seat an inch, I would probably do it. The visibility wasn't a problem after the first 30 minutes of driving, my brain seemed to have adjusted easily. Edmund's Viper and Stingray Review
I have heard that it looks good in person and I still think that it is the best new Corvette design since the 1963 MY.
