Attempting to crank ..I hear the fuel pump prime but the engine won't fire. This happened once before but somehow fixed itself but is doing it again.

I’m assuming your Viper is a Gen 1 - not sure if this works for other Vipers.
If it’s a Gen 1 - use the security remote - if you still have it - set in locked position then unlock it - you may need to do this 2 or 3 times - I have this happen every time my battery runs down or I replace the battery - I don’t why but it somehow goes into lock mode. The other problem you will see in security lock mode is the car will crank, start, then die within less than a minute
The only solution I’ve found is to do what I’ve described above.
Does anyone know how to permanently disable the security system?
