What difference figure do you think would be fair if I traded?
My ACR is a 1999 Silver/Blue stripes with 14,000 miles in great condition. The SRT10 is a 2004 Silver pre-owned with 1,800 miles.

Thanks

How much do you want for the ACR?

More than anyone would ever give me. Thats why I'm asking , just trying to get some idea's. I love my car but, I drove by a local dealership yesterday and they had this Silver SRT-10 parked on the podium. It caught much attention and made me think about it. I don't like it better, if I traded it would be just to have something different and still be a Viper. I've owned mine since 1999.

If you work with a dealer a fair price will be 25-30 grand.

I'm sorry I think I missed read your response. If you meant 25-30 difference, that sounds fair. I agree
After reading Youwish response I thought you meant 25-30 for my car.

I think it will be more than 30 grands if you trade in your car for a new SRT. It is better to sell your car first then make a best deal for the SRT. I heard that Bill Pemberton from Woodhouste has very good price for new vipers. Good luck!

Mike,
even trade... no seriously your car plus $10k
sounds fair. one used car for another.
and then get blue stripes painted on the SRT and your set!
Go for it.

SRT's aren't selling at all so who knows he even may pay you to haul it away.

Brilliant comment Craig...

You disagree and think SRT's are selling well? In 1993 how many RT/10's could you find below MSRP?

The SRT is a flop. If it had a fixed roof it would sell.

How many Vipers were produced in 1993? How many in 2003?

Even in today's dollars the SRT is more expensive than the 93 RT.

In 1993 a comparable domestic car (Corvette) was producing 300hp. The ZR-1 was $68k.

The SRT may not be your thing, but it is hardly a 'flop'.

When dealers can't get MSRP for halo cars in second year production that's pretty much a failure. When manufacturers resort to dash plaque editions to move cars that's a sign of struggle. If the cars were in high demand there would be no need for these laughable "mamba" editions that are nothing more than a stock SRT with a riced out interior.

I think the economy may have something to do with this. The SRT is far from a flop.

I would love to see the stats on how long SRT's sit on a showroom floor VS a GTS.
The SRT is definately no GTS or RT-10. Thankfully we will get a coupe in a few months and then the depression will be over. :headbang:

Thanks for feeback. I took my wife and son to look at it and the both liked my ACR better. I told her I'll keep my ACR then and trade the Vette for it and she could drive the SRT-10. She said right and I'm going drive a stick and instead of auto. I said yea and she said I don't think so. Oh well I tried :D I always said Corvette was a good sports car for a woman. I guess I'll wait for the new SRT-10 coupes to come out :2tu:

Tell me one more time while the SRT haters come to this side of the site to bash our cars?

The point being???

Somehow it helps to compensate for an extreme erectile disfunction.
