1st Club dinner coming up fast

    The 1st monthly dinner is 2 days from today at a small wine bar in Mukilteo. We won't have our own room, and I know it's kinda north for some folks, but the food, service and atmosphere are great.
    Date: 5/13/2009 (Wednesday)
    Time: ~6:00 - 6:30 till closing (note happy hour 5:00 - 7:00 PM) (come later if traffic's bad)
    Location: Piazza's Wine Bar 11700 Mukilteo Speedway, Mukilteo, WA.
    Misc: Kids OK, Italian food, Large parking lot, Wednesday is a slow night, so we should have lots of room. Full dinner menu.
    Drive what ever you want... Viper in not necessary.
    Think about other locations for future dinners.

    Scampi Pesto – Tiger Prawns sautéed w/ fresh pesto, artichoke hearts, & tomatoes in a lemon, wine butter sauce
    Fresh Manila Clams – Steamed in butter, white wine & garlic
    Calamari Bianco – Calamari rings sautéed w/ kalamata olives, capers & tomatoes in a lemon, wine garlic & butter sauce
    Tenderloin Crostini – Toasted crostini topped w/ a creamy horseradish sauce and medium-rare slices of beef tenderloin
    Beef Carpaccio – Thinly sliced filet of raw beef, marinated w/ lemon, garlic aioli & drizzled w/ extra virgin olive oil, & shaved parmesan

    Scallop Capellini – Scallops sautéed w/ garlic & spinach in a light tarragon cream sauce over angel hair pasta
    Clam Linguine – Fresh clams sautéed in butter, garlic, tomatoes & fresh herbs in a butter, wine sauce over linguine
    Seafood Fettuccine – Clams, prawns, scallops & calamari sautéed w/ garlic & fresh oregano. Served in Alfredo sauce
    Grilled Salmon – Seared filet w/ a Dijon cream sauce, sautéed spinach & pasta.

    Chicken Piccata – Boneless breast, sautéed w/ garlic, mushrooms & capers in a lemon wine sauce, served on a bed of pasta
    Chicken Marsala – Boneless breast sautéed w/ garlic, sun-dried tomatoes & mushrooms in Marsala cream w/ smashed potatoes
    Beef Tenderloin – Served w/Gorgonzola mushroom sauce & smashed potatoes
