I have already lowered the seat 2 inches on the driver's side of my SRT-10 and want to lower the seat on the passenger side too. I have the kit from Northwind.

Question: Has anyone done this and what effect, if any, does it have on your stereo amplifier, which is mounted below the passenger seat?

I just ordered the 1'' for the drivers side only. I've been told I could put the
1'' on the passenger side, but it would not be movable. Not sure about the 2’’.

ViperX I was wondering the same thing since I just installed the 2" kit yesterday for the driver side.

I've had the two-inch kit installed on both sides (and the amp installed) for almost a year and a half with no issues. I listen to CDs all the time. It's the one-inch kit on the passenger side that causes issues with your amp, not the two-inch kit.

That is very interesting. I will have to order another 2" kit then. Thanks Vipera Russelli.

Hey Vipera,

Thanks for the info. This is exactly what I was looking for. I was concerned that with the seat 2 inches lower and effectively right on top of the amp, the amp might overheat. I listen to the CD player all the time too.
