The April 12'th event that I am working out the final details on, will be a great cruise. It will be a fun day trip, or overnite trip, if you choose.
9 of us from the southern area of the club took this cruise/luncheon in the fall, and had a blast. As I finalize times I will give a detailed flyer out. The main plan is to meet at the visitor center at Yorktown Va. and cruise the Colonial parkway. After that we will do BBQ lunch in Williamsburg. We will then go to Virginia Beach to do a Viper invasion of a popular cruise spot. This place usually has a few hundred cars every Sat. nite. If anyone wants to make it a weekend trip, I will assist you on finding "car secure"places to stay.

Sounds like a lot of fun and you'll be covering ground where I grew up. I was about to volunteer the family home on Willoughby Spit to house 3 over nighters, but just realized I've already booked travel that week. If you plan another Norfolk area cruise, let me know with a bit more warning. We might be able to lure a few NOVA Vipers down if they know there is a good place for them to stay.
