A local dealer here where I live has 2 ACR's coming, so they tell me. I thought that you could not get SSG or Yellow in an 09. They state that they are in D1 status and that both will be dual graphite stripes and no black. Can anyone shed any light on this if these will be available?

My SSG ACR has a Vin# and is in D status..I cant believe he has 2 in D1 in those 2 colors because you could only order those 2 colors Starting Feb..13,09...Why the hell did he not get black stripes on both tooo:omg: Sounds like BS but maybe a dealer on here can tell you...You could ask him if he has VINS to each.....Kevin

No way, unless it's Woodhouse or Roanoke. As per the above those colors just opened up a few days ago. Woodhouse or Roanoke might have achieved the impossible as they have done stuff like that in the past, but no other regular order could have leapfrogged the backlog in my humble opinion.
Look at all the stages to go through before D1

UNSCHEDULED
  • BB - fleet order only - review by bid department
  • BD - special equipment processing
  • BE - edit error - coding error which must be corrected before order can be considered for scheduling
  • BG - order has passed edit, but cannot be scheduled regardless of priority or sold status
    • F - Financial hold
    • B - model or option
    • B - build out
    • L - material restriction
    • M - material hold (fleet)
    • BX - good order available for scheduling
SCHEDULED
  • C - tentative schedule
  • D - firm schedule: serial number is assigned, appropriate time in station (5) working days
  • D1 - gateline: plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned, approximate time in station is (12) working days
BUILD
  • E - framing
  • F - paint
  • G - trim
BUILT
  • I - unit is built pending final inspection
  • J - vehicle has passed final inspection: but not released to carrier unit requiring vendor work (sunroof, special package, etc.)
  • JB - shipped to body vendor
  • JE - shipped to emissions
  • JS - shipped to storage
  • KZ - released by plant and invoiced
TRAFFIC CODES
  • KZL - released but not shipped
  • KZM - first rail departure
  • KZN - first rail arrival
  • KZO - delayed/received
  • KZT - second rail departure
  • KZU - second rail arrival
  • KZX - delivered to dealer

So if it's in D1 they can tell you the following information?

D1 - gateline: plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned, approximate time in station is (12) working days

Thank you for the shared data

Question; I have the understanding that there are a couple that have had a D or D1 status since prior to the shut down. This being the case then excitement should be tempered because as I read in another thread; if production resumes it would not be until May or June; correct?

Takes care

Why buy those cars when you can order one EXACTLY the way you want it and I bet at a better price then they are asking....I thought ACR build will not start again until June...Kevin
