Another Door Won't Open Question

I have the infamous, "my passenger door will not open from the outside or inside handles, but will open using the emergency latch" problem.

I know that the wiring harness in the hinge is usually the culprit.

HOWEVER, the one thing that I couldn't find on any archived post,

I can still hear the door opening motor run when I hit the button. The door just won't pop open. Even when the door is open using the emergency latch the motor still activates when I hit the outside button or inside lever.

So:

1. Is this still probably the wiring harness.

or

2. I just had my V1 hardwired into my car. Could it be due to something the installers did?

When you hear the latch motor run, try pulling on the door at the same time. If it opens, you'll want to re-adjust the door(might be sagging, hanging up).

I readjusted it yesterday. No luck. I also pulled off the wiring harness and it appears all of the wires are ok.

I would say that the door latch motor is not connected to the latch itself. Cable or rod came off of one or the other.
