I searched, I couldn't find. So maybe somebody here remembers the thread about a scissor type lift? One of the replies mentioned about installing it into the floor so it was flush. Anybody remember?

I looked at them and got scared and ended up with this from Rotary--though scissors would give you a lot of space. Good luck.

Someone should remember something. Maybe it was in a garage thread?
I looked for you and could only find old ones.

I started googling and found a lot of garage scissor lifts. Scissor Lifts - Greg Smith Equipment Sales, Inc

I like this one because it allows alignments but it's rated at 12,000lbs and a little pricey. I'm not working on Panzer tanks. Lifting height is 73" which is good but I'd like to sink it flush to the floor so that loses about 7". I'm 6' so I don't wanna be crouched much.

I found another one made in China. Very affordable. But I don't like the made in China part.

Yeah. The China part may not be so good when you are lifting that much cash in the air.
