ANyone have the Roe air box piece modified to have 3" outlets?

ANyone have the Roe air box piece modified to have 3\" outlets?

Is it a nice piece? Clean work? You cannot see much detail in the picture online. It drives me nuts having 3" smooth tubes, 70mm t-bodies yet little 2.5" outlets on the air box.

I have one and it looks fine. I am very picky too.

The pics on his site is of his older style. He now uses a stainless insert. Back then he used plastic inserts that broke apart and I was told a few cars had injested it. Thus the reason for the change. Nonetheless anything from Roe is top quality I'm sure. Back when I was looking for the 3" he was making the change and I bought mine from Dan Craigan. He used a fiberglass insert that is very smooth in transition from the side that matters(inlet). I could car less how pretty it looked from the outside. Here are some pics. I was told he didn't sell them anymore. I don't know. Big difference that's for sure.

The forward edge of longer smooth tube material could always be angle cut to completely cover up the Roe 3" stub still visible..
