jwwiii,

The new(98' and newer) exhaust uses a tubular style manifold that is lighter than the old(pre 98')cast iron manifold. The mopar performance catalogue offers them at a weight savings with no gain in horsepower. I have changed out several of them for headers and all of the cars sounded better and made much more power.

Email this gentleman who just last week brought me his 00' GTS with only 700 miles. It now has our complete system. I will let him describe the sound and performance. His name is Scott Patrick and you can email him at [email protected]

Thanks for your questions. Feel free to contact me at any time.

Expecting a 01' RT-10 soon. I already have the Mopar street exhaust which I believe is 3". When I switch exhausts over to the new car, would different headers make a difference? Would it sound even better? If you tell me to buy new headers, what is inferior about the ones that came on the new Viper?

Thanks!
