Guys, can't seem to find any information on a batter tender for the Viper. Can you recommend a good quality purchase. Also will it do any harm by disconnecting the battery and placing it on a trickle charger over a long period of time?

Thanks :D

Autozone has a model made by Schumacher for about $25 - similar to the one Paul speaks of. Walmart (in my area) stopped carrying the tender.

I have two. No need to disconnect the battery. Works great.

Pep Boys have them too. Don't disconnect the battery, that's old school stuff before battery tenders. The advantage of the battery tender is it will never overcharge, it shuts down when the battery is charged. AND disconnecting the battery has other problems, like resetting everything. I'm surprised none of the SRT guys mentioned you have the option of "putting your car to sleep" over the winter. I'll let them chime in as I'm not an SRT guy......yet.
