Just wanted to send out a big thank you to Aaron, Alex, Mark, and all of the voleenteers, (including all of those lovely ladies) who worked so hard to provide the club with another great peformance driving season. We were able to make up our only rainout this last weekend and it was a great day again as always. It was good to see so many new faces out at the events.
Having attended a few other events for different driving clubs, I cannot put to words just how good of a job the Illinois club does with each event. They provide a safe way for everyone to learn to drive their car to their full potential. To make sure everything goes perfectly, they work tiressly before, during and after each event and season. Getting to the track at ridiculous hours in the morning and staying to the bitter end, lugging equipment all over and taking time to teach rookies and veterans, they do it all for the love of the club.
So to all of the officers and volunteers thank you again for a great job!
Oh and a quick congrats to Mark Schumann on being appointed the new Performance Driving Director.
