I just got my BTR Viper Nitrous/Propane kit a couple of days ago. I was wondering if anyone has installed this system themselves and could give me suggestions not already in the instructions to make it easier, or, is there anyone knows of someone or autoshop in the Chicagoland area familar with this system and would be able to install it for me. It is for a 1995 RT/10.

Thanks in advance,

John

John,

I did it myself, but with some helping hands from my friends. Firstly did I spread it all out on the floor, just to understand the logic behind the system, that was of great help when installing it. I started of with routing the Nos and propane lines to the trunk, then did I fabricate a stainless holder for the Solenoids, after that did I just test mount all lines and electrical gadgets. Did a functional test, everything ok! Then did I install the Fogger:s, connected the lines all the way, blow the clean, tried the Solenoid, ok! Now did I start with the final installation, strapping, making it look good and invisible.
Finaly did I fabricate a trunk panel for the Bottles, I did also do a quick connection in the trunk for the wiring. The last thing was to ad Autometer gauges in the trunk for Nos and Propane.
Hope this helps a bit, it takes som time, but i promise! it's worth it!!!!
