Viper Owner
CA Vipers Representin\', I Got Published! Pics
Okay, so maybe not in Motortrend or anything like that, but I got a copy of the CHP Zenith 12000, The Official Publication of the California Highway Patrol and look what I found:
That's my snake in the upper left hand corner!
My father is a retired CHP officer and every year in September at the academy in West Sac they hold the Annual Cops and Rodders Car Show. He and I went this year, my father brought his '56 Chevy and I brought the Viper. It is a big turn out, about 300-400 cars of every year and make. To my suprise, I ended up getting a 1st place for the post 1976 cars category which included many Corvettes, Mustangs, Prowlers, and GM F-bodies. I was the only Viper representing that day.
Glad to see that Vipers not only win awards but are now marketed as part of car show events!
Here is the rest of the coverage:
For anyone in California who is interested in signing up for next year's event I think it would be nice to see some more Vipers represent. Proceeds go to the CAHP and they have a really cool helicopter/motorcycle/camaro high-speed events show at the EVOC that will blow your socks off. It is a really fun day had by all. Drop me an email or pm me and I'll send you the info when I receive it this spring.
