well after few weeks of searching .some good prices and some really stupid **** prices the snake is back to life.Just incase any of you are dead set on buying from a Dodge dealer just remeber just because like in Red Deer the two dealer shops are a block apart does not mean the prices will be the same.First place was a price of 150$ for the batterie and the second Dodge dealer{NWD} was 290$.What a ******* the owner of the second shop is.Well needless to say got the batterie from some place other then Dodge.Dont care if they go under i will never ever support a local Dodge dealer when there prices are so stupid.
Shane,
Since I know Graham and Fred Moore personally at Northwest Motors and their parts always come in lower by about 10% than the other guy I felt there must be an apple and an orange in this somewhere. I am right. The battery you bought is not the one that came in your car. It is a Walmart battery (ie. generic). It is a group 34-78 (side and top posts) with 700 CCA.
The one that came with your Viper is a Group 78 (side post only) 770 CCA. When someone asks NWM for a Viper battery they assume they want original equipment and quote accordingly. Their price on the generic one that you bought is $142.00.
I am not saying your battery is no good. I am just setting the record straight on pricing. SSD must use the generic book on batteries, hence their lower price when originally asked.
