Competing in Stock with Viper (dragracing)

I will eventually build a Viper for competition in Stock (Dragracing) next year. Is there anyone out there that have done that? If so please let me know.

Jack McCormack had an early roadster they planned to run in stock eliminator a/s. Don't know what happened to that project, but your facing a development challenge. None of the required SFI safety shields and other required safety equip. is available for a Viper. The record is almost in the 9s. My car can runs 11.0s. I can't image going even 10.20s with a blue print and stock rockers. Especially in a Gen 1.

Somebody must be first, they all started in hi 13, and are now down to low 10:s. It would be fun and challenging to try the same with a Viper.
