Ctek 3300 Tender question

I just put my car away for the winter and have a question on the Ctek 3300 trickle charger.

1) Do you use the car mode or the snowflake mode on a Gen 4?

2) I used the cigarette lighter plug and when I connected it the fully charged light lights up solid green and the maintenance light flashes red. Is this normal?
