The Jeep SRT8 seems like a great SUV to smoke the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. I think the SRT8 towing capacity is 6500 pounds.

Nope... that's the regular Cherokee. The Jeep srt-8 is only 3500lbs. Can't tow your Viper with it.

Why the heck is that anyway. Put a much more powerful engine in with more hp and torque and they DROP the tow rating. Same with the SRT 10 Ram. Are they just trying to prevent warranty failures on a more expensive engine? With 425 hp the jeep has got to be able to tow at LEAST 6500. Anybody know?
