The Gateway VCA has a Dyno day scheduled for this saturday, but I decided to take mine to get it dynoed today.

I thought I would be better off going to the dyno that I would normally go to (it's about 30 miles closer to me).

I'll probably go to the dyno day and just hang out and watch or have my Dakota R/T dynoed.

Steve Wedel is supposed to dyno his 94 550 Venom and everyone is curious to see what it will do.

The results of my best (of 3) dyno runs, 384.4 max HP and 456.6 max torque.

The car is a 94 with smooth tubes, K&N's and glasspack mufflers (Thrush).

Here's a pics of the sheets.
Sorry they're not better, we still need to hook up our scanner (That's why they're pics of the sheets)

Congrats Rich -- those are very healthy numbers for a '94! You're making more torque than did my '01 with tubes & K&Ns (457 vs my 448) and your curves are quite smooth.

For kicks, I plugged your #s into CarTest2000 to compare with my '01's stock figures (408HP & 442'/lb). Here are the predicted performance figures:

Rich's RT:
0-60 in 4.32
0-100 in 9.53
1/4 mile: 12.5 @ 113
Top speed (roof off/on): 169 / 174

Stock '01:
0-60 in 4.36
0-100 in 9.40
1/4 mile: 12.4 @ 118
Top speed: 171 / 178

Thanks Ben,

My best quarter mile times to date are, 12.30 @ 112mph.
I'm hoping to do better yet with it, but I think it's going to take some mods to do that (headers and 3 inch exhaust).
